We want to welcome everyone to the 2017-2018 school year, and let you know some of the upcoming PTO events.  The Annapolis High School PTO is responsible for funding a yearly Senior Scholarship, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon for our amazing teachers and staff, and provides financial help to Clubs and Organizations at Annapolis High School.  That’s why it is very important that we receive the help that we need from our Parents, Students, and Staff. This year the PTO is hoping for an amazing year, even though you may not be able to attend our meetings or events, your help is still greatly appreciated. 

This year we need the following items:

  • Gift Cards to purchase items to meet the needs of our concession stand (from SAM’s Club, Gordon’s, Walmart, Kroger, or any other local grocery store).
  • Suckers (Blow Pop or Tootsie Rolls)
  • 2 Liter Pops for the “Pop Shot” during our Boys Home Basketball Games (Pepsi, Coke, or Faygo products)
  • Hot Dogs
  • Hot Dog Buns
  • Nachos
  • Nacho Cheese
  • Can Pop
  • Pizza Donations or Gift Cards
  • Candy Bars
  • Individual bag of chips
  • Individual wrapped Candy

Concession Stand and Pop Shot
The PTO will run the Concession Stand and “Pop Shot” at all Boys Basketball Home Games.  The Concession stand will run from approximately 3:45 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.  Two parents will be needed in the concession stand always. There will be a sign-up sheet available for parents to sign-up to assist. 

Blanket Raffle
At every Boys Basketball home game Until the Pink Out Game we will have raffle tickets available for purchase.
1 ticket for $1, 3 for $5, 8 for $10, and 20 for $20.  On the back of the ticket you will put your name, phone number, and email address.  The drawing for the raffle of the Breast Cancer Awareness Blanket will take place at the Pink Out Game.   You do not have to be present to win.  

Senior Scholarship
The Senior Scholarship form is available in the office. In order to be eligible for the scholarship parents must pay the $5 membership fee (You do not have to attend the PTO Meetings, there is not a commitment with the membership, and we will not overload you with emails).  This year the Scholarship will be worth $250.  

The Next PTO Meeting will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
